Karan Johar's ‘Agneepath’ remake is gradually getting improvised by passing day. While one would have enjoyed the original, starring Amitabh Bachchan; KJo’s remake will be far from the classic one – more stylish and contemporary.

It’s already news that Priyanka Chopra has been signed in for the remake. However the actress has clarified to sources that she won’t be doing the role of a prostitute. Instead she will be playing the prostitute's daughter in the movie.

On the other hand, Johar is keen to give his lead actors a complete modern and hep image. And so he has called on board Robin Slater, the renowned international make-up artist who has been an Oscar nominee twice. She is also the one who is known for her work in several Hollywood flicks, among which are ‘Planet of The Apes’, ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, ‘The Grinch Who Stole Christmas’ and ‘Just Married’.

The original ‘Agneepath’ released in 1990 was directed by late Mukul S Anand and produced by KJo’s father Yash Johar. It featured Amitabh, Mithun Chakraborty, Danny Denzongpa and Madhavi in the lead roles. The new version, being directed by Karan Malhotra, has Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt.

According to sources, to design a special look for Vijay Deenanath Chauhan's character and that of Kancha Cheena's played by Hrithik and Sanju respectively, Slater was chosen. Incidentally Slater has initially worked with Karan in his Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘My Name Is Khan’.

The remake is said to have already gone on floors in Mumbai and the team is maintaining strict secrecy over the looks of the cast.
